DESIGN & TECHNICAL SUPPORT.

We have many of the industry’s best and brightest designers working across our divisions ready to deliver on a wide spectrum of architectural briefs.

Our in-house design and engineering teams, including a dedicated R&D Centre for Excellence in Cheshire, UK utilize the latest tools to calculate technical requirements.

Our divisions will either recommend products and services from our existing range or, should the project requirements be more specific, liaise with clients to produce a unique solution.

From 2D drawing in AutoCad to 3D rendering in Autodesk Showcase and 3D printing of physical prototypes, they are continually pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved with glass and metal.

BIM, Revit & NBS Source

Radii Planet Group use BIM for collaborative information management and to aid end-user decision making. Our extensive library of BIM objects for all our systems is regularly updated to ensure that all architects and specifiers have access to the information they need to make informed decisions.

Our in-house design managers have the ability to calculate glass stress and deflection. This includes 3D design files of our products that can be easily dropped into existing models, helping to create high quality, accurate construction specifications. RPG can also produce 3D renders and 3D printing for special components.

Our modelling service is suitable for any scheme that requires a Revit model of proposals to include in the central BIM model. All of our BIM models are created to be fully compatible with the COBie international standard.

IN-HOUSE MANUFACTURE.

Radii Planet Group’s dedicated in-house production facilities allows our brands to deliver comprehensive solutions to satisfy customer requirements and produce a range of products boasting outstanding aesthetics & performance.

These sites ensure rapid, consistent manufacturing while providing additional quality control over both our output and our supply chain management.

Through combining the advanced tracking systems of Radii with the in-house production capabilities of Planet, our manufacturing capabilities gives a unique industry competitive advantage through providing additional benefits and value to clients across all our divisions.

EFFICIENCY AND RELIABILITY.

Component tracking across manufacturing and installation.

Our industry-leading BTMC barcode system gives full oversight of manufacturing, with each aluminium component tagged and tracked from the raw material through cutting, powder-coating and finishing.

This innovation then adds value through installation, with the barcode system providing full, real-time oversight of delivery and installation and reduces on-site waste to just 1 percent. All data is then stored by Radii Planet Group to ensure that, should the need arise, any parts can be rapidly remade to the same high standard.

Glass Processing

Glass processing: Radii Planet Group’s 120,000 sq ft glass processing plant utilises innovative production methods to extract the full technical capabilities of the material and provide market-leading structural and acoustic performance for glass partitions, doors and architectural glazing solutions.

Metal Fabrication

All of our metal fabrication work such as CNC routing is done in-house at our own facilities, with products then being assembled using a combination of skilled labour and mechanical assistance to ensure high standards of health & safety.

Powder Coating

Our complete range of components are held in stock in mill finish aluminium, ready for finishing by a state-of-the-art conveyorised automated powder coating system to any RAL colour reference, or an anodising treatment to suit the individual project requirements.

DELIVERING ACROSS THE UK

Radii Planet Group’s headquarters and main production factory is located in Burgess Hill, West Sussex.

For client delivery and installation, Radii Planet Group maintain regional contracting offices that provide full strategic UK coverage, alongside a growing network for overseas export capability.

This regional presence ensures all products and systems are installed by our own teams of installers, allowing us to keep a control on quality of work and offer a single source warranty to our clients.
